The monument was created by the sculptor Mario Rutelli between 1924 and 1936. In the second half of the century. XX (1950-1970) was integrated with tombstones with commemorative inscriptions to the fallen of the second war, placed on the side and rear sides.
The monument consists of a base, a podium with four inscribed plaques and a bronze sculpture representing Victory as a winged woman carrying palm branches . The monument is dedicated to the fallen of the First World War .
