Sculptural group depicting the Virgin who, with the sweeping gesture of her arms, rises on a cumulus of clouds from which two angelic protomes emerge. Two other angels placed laterally. The statue of the Assumption is the work of Paolo di Zinno , it appears to be a provincial interpretation, but not lacking in taste, of noble Neapolitan examples, adhering to the characteristics of late Baroque statuary . The sculpture is therefore contemporary with the St. Joseph with Child to which clear stylistic affinities link it. The wavy pattern of the drapery fails to impart motion to the figure, which is instead expressed in the preparatory drawing no. 26 of the Albino Library of Campobasso. For the parish church of Campochiaro, di Zinno painted an Immaculate Conception and a St. Francis Xavier.
